What is the name of the main entrance at the Louvre Museum in Paris?

"Entree du Louvre" is the main entrance at the Pyramide.  If there are delays to enter, you have time to appreciate the geometric pyramid and fountains of the Cour Napoleon.

If lines are lengthy, you can use the alternative entrances: via the Porte des Lions, just east of the Pont Royal, or directly under the Arc du Carrousel; the latter can also be accessed from 99 rue de Rivoli and from the line #1 platform of the Palais Royal-Musée du Louvre métro stop.

If you've already got a ticket or a Museum pass you can also enter from the Passage Richelieu.
