What is the name of the microsoft photo app ?

Question

when i am in yahoo mail and i download a picture sent to me...there was a microsoft app that brought up the pic....my computer crashed and now it is gone...

pls advise

The standard, default picture viewer is the Microsoft Image Viewer.  If that's what you mean, and it's gone, then I don't know how to get it back or working correctly except to do a system restore.

How To Get It Back In XP:

1. Click Start

2. Click Run

3. In the text box type: regsvr32 shimgvw.dll (Copy And Paste This)

4. Click OK

You May Need To Reboot.

Oops their are several photo editors developed by Microsoft. So plz tell some features of the Editor you want. I know about Microsoft Photo editor. You could serach from Microsoft Download centre

I prefer Photoshop for Photo editing which is developed by Adobe. It's best Photo editor.

I would guess you are talking about Microsoft Photo Editor - it is standard in XP
