  1. theyre called artistic blades! and its part of artistic skating, i wouldnt reccomend using them unless you have a coach - for one thing, they're extremely expensive, the technique is very different (the wheels are rockered, so one is lower than the other, and they have a toe pic for jumping)

they are used in inline artistic events, at artistic skating competitions... we do the same jumps, dances and spins as skaters on traditional skates, we just compete in separate events... inline events are included in all major artistic competitions - even at worlds!

and theyre not just called pic skates!!!!!!!

sorry, it annoys me. its one of those things figure skaters are always doing, and that art skaters hate. lols...

there are many other brands too...

  2. i think they are called rollerblades

  3. I think this is what you were looking for - they have been advertised in SKATING magazine for years:

PIC skates - the frame attaches to a regular figure skating boot.  Yes the wheels are inline like roller blades, but they are designed with figure skaters in mind.

I'm sure there are other brands available, but like I said, these are the ones advertised in SKATING magazine.

  4. it is called pic skates

  5. Inline skates.

It's because the wheels are in a line.

  6. I'm pretty sure you mean inline skates.  PIC skates and Riedel make them.  They seem really cool.  Google "Inline skates" and you should get a bunch of pics and places to buy.  I hope I helped you.
