Were you thinking of FCI Broadband?  They are based in Markham, ON and offer telephone services.

I've attached their website..not sure why it says futureway but it definitely goes to the FCI Broadband website..

Actually you are wrong. Most people even in Markham are with Bell Canada. Until very recently there was only Bell in ontario. No choice.

Now people can also have Rogers, or verizon.

BUT you can still have Bell in Markham.
