Question:

What is the name of the tree that has berries which burn with a white flame?

I saw a Bush Tuckerman program years ago were he used berries to make a campfire light that was very bright. Does anyone have a clue as to what that tree was, and if it is possible to get seeds to grow them.

    Alternate plant oils for burning include coconut oil, banana oil, olive oil, pine sap, pine oil, most nuts when pressed for their oil make a burnable oil for an  oil lamp. Bayberries from the wax myrtle made candles.


  2. Hmm, was is the candlenut (Aleurites moluccana)? I do remember him burning some of those in one ep.
