What is the name of this anime movie

Question

I don't remember much about it, so bare with me. I do remember it had some weird water creature things in it though, and that there was a boy. One of those creatures were singing to the boy, and couldn't talk, as far as I can remember. But if someone could help me find this, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

hmmmmm..well to me it sounds a bit like Mermaid Melody but who knows i could be wrong, if u could add more detail to it that be good

Sounds to me like Blue Submarine No. 6.

Wasn't a movie though it was kinda like a mini-series.  It only had about 4 or 6 episodes if I remember correctly.  It was a really good show
