What is the name of this specific car part?

I ran over a cable wire that got stuck in the wheel well (don't ask) and in the process of trying to back out of it (and finally opting to get towed backwards) a part along the undercarriage of the car got damaged. The link below shows a picture of the part that is damaged and needs replacing, but you can only see the damage when the wheel is turned all the way to the left.

Additionally, how much would you estimate this part cost to be replaced, along with repairs made to excess damage to the wheel well and front bumper seen here:

  2. Sway bar bushings, not sure about the price though....try autozone.com for a price maybe?

  3. Looks like the sway bar bushing.  If the lower control arm is not damaged,,,,the thing the bar bolts onto,,,,should be inexpensive to replace the rubber and the bolt,,,,around $20 to $30.

    The body damage,,,,

    well, fender and bumber,,,,,with paint,,,,$1500 to $2500,,,depending on shop.  Get estimates.  

  4. that is the sway bar endlink, they are very cheap(20-30 bucks tops) at a parts store, its very easy to replace too(its just a big bolt with a bunch of rubber bushings on it)

    you would have to go to a body shop to get an accurate estimate(parts and labor vary state to state) btw estimates are free

  5. Sway bar end link is cheap and easy. The paint and bodywork you'll have to get a few estimates. Thank you for providing pictures, to many people on here ask impossible questions without providing any info, let alone pictures.

  6. I couldn't tell you on the body damage as you will have to see a body shop about that but replacing the stabilizer bar link is only about $10 for the part and whatever they charge you for labor.

  7. Those are just bushings for the sway bar.

    The repair cost depends on where you live and where you take the car to.

  8. the part is called front sway bar adjustment and bushings. as for the body damage you will have to go to a local body shop are friendly mechanic. and price will depend on new or used parts. I would recommend used body parts. good to recycle to old and use them when passable. thanks.

  10. Well the pictures not that great,but it might be a stabilizer bar bushing.Also know as a sway bar.Twenty bucks should cover it. The body work. No idea but under a grand.
