Ok, I'm pretty sure this is a spider because it has 8 legs. But strangley it has 2 LARGE (as big as it's own body) feeler antena things. It's head is in the shape of a water droplet. And it has 4 BIG teeth, 2 on top of it's mouth and 2 on the bottom. It's mouth is big enough I can tell when it is open. The spider is a darkish orange, except it's thorax is black. And I never see it making webs. It also does not act like a predator towards a ant 1/10 of it's size, the spider always runs away. I live in the U.S. if that helps.

If anyone can tell me wtf this spider's name is I will appreciate it a lot! (lol again, It's mouth is almost scary big.)

It is a sun spider, or whip (wind?) scorpion.

    Different people use different names.

There are bigger versions in the Middle East where they call them wind spiders (cause they move fast) or camel spiders.

They don't sting but they can give a pretty good bite.

Another page of them, click on the images for larger views.

  5. it wouldn't be a spider because spiders do not have antennas or feelers...  also...some spiders don't make webs....some are ground hunting and live under leaves, bark, in burrows etc.
