  1. http://www.eia.doe.gov

This website gives you the national average of fuel and gas. This is the website that all of us truckers use to obtain our National average on fuel surcharge.  However, everybody has a different Matrix for fuel surcharge. But there is all kinds of information on there on gas and fuel and in the past years. I hope this helps

  2. On Jan. 1, 2008, the standard mileage rate for the use of a personal automobile (including cars, vans, pick up and panel trucks) became 50.5 cents per mile for all business miles driven, up from 48.5 cents per mile in 2007.

  3. I read recently that the Feds say 50.5 cents.  I get half that.

  4. It all depends on the company. The one I work for here in Michigan pays me 45 cents per mile.
