The  Bahamas has one of the highest consumption rates per capita of chicken in the world. We reaaaally love chicken.lol but yeah conch is definately the national food. Conch is a giant sea snail. Its flesh looks and tastes like a more chewy scallop. Its eaten in many ways,chower,stewed,fried in fritters, raw ( its actually really good raw)

i would say conch cooked/prepared in the variety of ways that some1 mentioned is our national dish. guava duff is a bahamian dish but it does not compared to conch. but guava duff tastes really good tho.
