  1. Boot camp is in many different places depending on what job you're going to have. You get promoted as you earn promotions. The first few are automatic but then you have to earn rank.

The link below is a complete pay scale. The "Drill Pay" is what you're looking for.

  2. National guard doesn't have their own "boot camp". Their basic training is at the place that is designated by the MOS they enlist with. They train where Active duty soldiers train for that point in their careers, because their are "Active" at the time.

  3. the pay depends on their pay grade. they get promoted by time in that grade and other factors like awards, evaluations, test scores. just depends on the branch they are in. as far as boot camp they go to the same ones active duty go to. here is the yearly pay chart for enlisted members in the guard

  4. You are paid every 1st and 15th, the way to move up in pay is get a higher rank, to find out how to move up higher in rank ask a recruiter. BootCamp is 10 weeks and your AIT right after. How long your AIT is depends on what MOS you choose (MOS is your job) like I'm a combat engineer which is 6 weeks AIT, so I will be gone a total of 16 weeks. BootCamp also depends on your MOS. Good Luck
