What is the natural log of 1?

i'm guessing this a pretty simple question. i just forgot how to do it. thanks

  3. Well if you write the question as a formula and your answer is y then:

    Ln(1) = y ,

    then 1 = exp(y)

    At this point you could say exp(0) =1 so your answer is y = 0.

    Otherwise you could use the Taylor expansion for the exponential to solve for y:

    1 = exp(y) = 1 + y +(y^2)/2 ....

    to which the only solution is y = 0
