There is no metro at Castelldefels but there is a busy little commuter railway station. You can get the times from www.renfe.es.

I am not sure of the cost bu I think that a single is €2.50. If you buy a ticket of 10 journeys, it drops to about €1.50 a journey.

This is about a third of the UK cost for a similar journey.

The most central Barcelona station on the line is Paseo de Gracia Which is situated under Paseo de Gracia and C/ Aragon.
