Sanford International Airport - very small - very convenient and easier to get to the theme parks.  Not all airlines fly into this airport - you'll have to shop around.  

You can use Orlando International but its your typical airport - too big - too many lines - tram to get baggage, etc.  It takes too much time to get out of the airport.  Sanford is your typical small town, great service - no lines! - with all the conveniences.

There are two. The major one is Orlando International Airport. The airport code is MCO. There is another one in Sanford which is a little east of Orlando and their airport code is SFB. But the closest one is MCO.

If you would be willing to look into other airports, somtimes it is cheaper to fly into other airports. You could get to Tampa in about 1 hr and their airport code is TPA.

Orlando Sanford International Airport (code SFB) is a more distant airport that some of the low cost airlines use. For example allegiant Air uses the more distant airport.

The two airports are 24.4 air miles apart, and probably about 30 miles driving.

You're going to want Orlando International. It's the biggest, and the only one that really takes airliners. A lot of the hotels near the theme parks have a free airport shuttle service.
