Tara Street or Pearse St are pretty much the same distance from The Olympia about ten min walk.  

Directions from Pearse station: take an immediate right upon exiting the train station onto Pearse St, walk straight down Pearse st (in the direction of Trinity College), when you get to trinity continue to go straight all the way up College Green onto Dame street (passing Central Bank) The olympia is on your right hand side two doors after Charlies Chineese restaurant.
