  1. Mt. Pelee in Martinique (Eastern Caribbean) is an ACTIVE volcano about 1880 miles from southern NJ.

  2. Yellowstone, most likely.

  3. My guess is that the largest major volcano to New Jersey is the Blake River Megacaldera Complex (or Blake River Group) on the border between Ontario and Quebec in Canada.

(could also be Mont St Hilaire, Quebec), getting info is very difficult on exact location for Canada)

In the US contiguous 48, the closest is either Devil's Tower in Wyoming, or Dotsero in Colorado (near Vail), depending on what part of New Jersey you are trying to get closest to...

    Devil's Tower - 1787 miles from Joisey

Dotsero - 1902 miles from Joisey

  4. i agree with the last answer

  5. Either in Greenland, or the super volcano in Yellowstone National Park. Mt. St. Helens is further than the Yellowstone and I doubt that any are closer in the continental US.
