What is the new Boston lineup???

what do you think will be the new lineup of the red sox with manny out and bay in???

I Think that first the Red Soxs have to decide if they would want to have 2 lefties back to back meaning Drew then Ortiz or Ortiz then Drew.

But I think the lineup would look something like this.

Dustin Pedroia

Kevin Youkilis

J.D. Drew

David Ortiz

Mike Lowell

Jed Lowrie

Jason Bay

Jason Varitek

Jacoby Ellsbury

Another Alternative would be

Bay won't be replacing Manny's spot.

Lowell will probably move up to the 4th position, and Bay will bat near the rear of the line-up so he can get used to the new team, the media, and the AL pitching before we put pressure on him by batting him clean-up.

Here is just a guess, based on my knowledge of the team and my knowledge of the batting order's we've had throughout the past 4 seasons with Terry Francona.

Id have to agree with Boston Believes with one exception. I think I would bat JD Drew in the 4 spot then Lowell. Drew proved he can do what they need in the absense of Ortiz earlier in the season
