It IS actually called the Sidekick 2008. It's neon green and it WAS originally supposed to be called the sidekick gekko; which makes more sense.What's the difference between that one and  the sidekick 2 and 3??...not much really . you get a camera and better internet...The biggest diff is u can customize the shells to personalize it, check out tmobile page-most 'shells' are pretty nice.

its was released as the t-mobile sidekick....nothing else. some people like to call it the sidekick 2008 to tell the difference.
