What is the newest version of IBM Thinkpad?

The school I go to is giving each student a laptop. I know they are giving us IBM Thinkpads, but I don't know what model. I know there are like R60 and T61 or whatever but what is the latest version?

  1. go to lenovo.com which is IBM  i have a non working one on ebay under stanky7474 its a 3000 N100 they have lots of others i miss it compared to this new Compaq presario.
