  1. There was a spacecraft launched to Mars called the Phoenix Probe.  It had legs and has successfully landed.

There is the Cassini mission to Saturn.  The Cassini Orbiter's mission consists of delivering a probe called Huygens to Titan one of Saturn's moons, and then remaining in orbit around Saturn for detailed studies of the planet and its rings and satellites. The Huygens probe successfully landed on Saturn's largest moon Titan on 14 January 2005.  This event makes it the only landing to take place in the outer Solar System and the furthest from Earth.

  2. We have not launched any spacecraft specifically at the next-nearest star, which would be the Alpha Centauri system (Proxima Centauri, to be specific) about 4 light-years away.  However there are five spacecraft that are proceeding out of our solar system:  Pioneer 10, Pioneer 11, Voyager 1, Voyager 2, and the recently-launched New Horizons craft.  Voyager 1 is the fastest and is almost at the edge of the solar system and into interstellar space.  If it keeps going straight it will pass within 1.6 light-years of a star in about 40,000 years.

  3. Are you looking for planets that orbit a star other than our Sun?  These planets are called "extrasolar planets" or "exoplanets" for short.

The closest confirmed exoplanet that I know of is Epsilon Eridani b (HD 22049 b), which orbits the star Epsilon Eridani.  It's about 10.5 light-years away from our solar system and about 1.5 times the mass of Jupiter.

Next up is the red dwarf star system Gliese 876, located about ; this exoplanet is about 15.2 light-years away from our solar system and containing no less than three planets, one of which may have a rocky surface.

    Hope this helps!
