  1. When I was eight years old, I got lost and was very distressed. This woman saw me crying and came over and asked me if I was lost and whether or not I had called my parents or the police. She called my mom for me and stayed with me until she came. My mom bought her flowers as a thank you. I am very grateful for what this woman did for me twenty years ago and I will never forget it.

  2. This guy let me go in the bus because it was cold and he knew I was freezing so I said thank you to him.

  3. ur a stranger to someone as well, i ask what have u done for them??? have u ever??? i have, was taking a flight back home & saw an old disabled person who was taking the same flight having a lot of trouble getting on the bus taking us to the plane, no one was even ready to look at him cos they were in their own hurry, so i stepd in, helped him till we reached our destination, till the exit. Didn't know who he was or even his name but it felt great to help someone out.... the feeling doubled when he gave me his card & asked me to land up at home for lunch sometime..... may b u cud try helping someone, all of u......

  4. I lost my $2 and a stranger gave me 5

  5. thats an excellent question! I hope more people respond

i can think of the nicest things that anyone has ever done for me...

like my stats/computer teacher gave me a old computer from his computer store to take to college b/c i couldnt afford one,

and i had a guys parents that i dated once put money in my bank account secretly b/c i didnt have any money to go to the eye doctor for glasses

i had another guy i dated's  dad take my old car one day without me knowing and take it to the mechanics shop to get tuned up and he replaced my battery and filled up my gas tank for me

I had to sue a landlord in college for stealing my security deposit and they were so mean to me and a lawyer I was talking to showed up in court unexpectedly to help me out b/c he felt bad that I was being taken advantage of.......I won my case, and the lawyer never charged me anything! (he also had to drive about 45 minutes each way to show up to court)

I had a guy's parents that i dated let me borrow a car of theirs for about 2-3 months when my old car died and I didnt have any transportation around college. They didnt charge me anything!

But I think the nicest thing a stranger ever did for me was when my mom and I had to quickly leave an abusive situation with my stepdad, a lady across the street (who was only visiting that house) that we didnt know saw the fight and heard the screaming  and offered to let us stay at her house to get away from him. We hid out at her house for a few days before we could find another place to stay. She opened her house up to 2 strangers and fed us. She even had kids in her house to take care of. What a beautiful person! I never saw her again after that and I wished I could have done something really nice for her!

  6. My engine over heated and this nice stranger filled my radiator with antifreeze. He never charged me for his container of antifreeze either.

  7. my dad spilled his entire cup of burning hot coffee on me, and these two stranger went and got be ice, and some towels to clean up with. they even offered to get be some antiseptic and bandages. i'm really glad that they did help, because if they hadn't the burns would have been a lot worse.

  8. i couldnt think of anything specific right now but people are nice to me everyday... and i try to be nice to people too... just a simple smile or "how's your day going" or letting them go ahead of you in line at the grocery store or when your a couple cents short at the store and they let you slide.. little things like that might not seem like much but they can make a difference to somebody

  9. someone bought me a coffee because some guy cut me off and took my space in the parking lot. it wasn't this person but she was sweet and made my day better

  10. Save my life....

I was little and I was in a "daycare" program..I had to be like 7 maybe and we went to the pool but I didn't kno how to swim. I accidently went to the pool with the deep end and was going down the stairs and eventually got to the deepest part of the pool and fell.

As I was gasping for air and eventually got to the side of the pool and brushed up against to teenagers legs and they pulled me out of the water.

I never got to thank them :(

Edit: Now that I think of it, it wasn't the nicest thing but the greatest thing someone could ever do for me. I wish i could meet them again to tell them how much they impacted my life
