What is the noise i hear at night?

Usually i just sit there, and like every about 20 seconds it would make a *tink* noise, like a really light knock, it stops after about 5 times, and i use to see flashes, that just like blasts past the window, but i dont see it anymore, any suggestions?

It's your great grandfather wanting something of his back.  He tried getting your attention before by whistling and running up and down the stairs, and then by tearing up the guest room. Maybe now, you'll get it and give it back to him!

Hi:

Don't pay any attention to non-helpful answers.  Try to record it to detect if it is an audible noise.   Offhand, it might be some type of light paranormal activity, but currently, there are not enough details about what is happening.  For the flashes of light, I also see flashes of light from time to time, but I don't know if they are actual external physical lights or misfires of the visual cells in my retinas.  It might help if you have a video camera to try to set it up to record, and if possible, on stimuli like noise or movement.  For me, I think my house is lightly haunted - there isn't a lot of activity, just a little bit, so you might have something similar.  How long have you lived in your current house?  How long have you noticed this activity?  Does it always seem to happen at a particular time of day?   Has anyone else ever been present when you've detected the noise or the lights?  Answering those types of questions may help you resolve your issues.  Hope this helps, and you might be interested in looking at other peoples' paranormal experiences at the shadowlands website.

it could be a number of things including ghost like the one before me said you should try to recording it

old eater or air conditioner getting started sometimes makes tinks every few seconds. not sure about the flashes. do you live in a bad neighborhood?
