I tested some made from the KLASS Aguas Frescas mix (using standard proportions and got a 1-14 test strip reading of between 2 and 3. The ingredients are as follows (in order): sugar fumaric acid, artificial flavor, silicon dioxide, artificial colors, dried hibiscus extract, ascorbic acid (vitamin c), and sucralose (generic splenda). I know that this is a perversion of the real stuff, but is it hurting my esophagus to drink the stuff, or was my reading wrong.

  1. In Soil: pH-5.5 to 6.5.  I'm thinking you are too acid, thus the burn you experience.
