  1. Some says 650-700 RPM is normal for 1999 Cavalier. I know my cavalier starts to make weird noise and shakes a lot if it goes below 500 or 600 RPM. Some also says .8 to 1 is ideal - but I think that's a bit too much. Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone?
