What is the northern/westernmost point of latitude/longitude?

i need to know what the northenmost point of latitude is, and then what the westernmost point of latitude is. please help me!!!

  1. Latitude is 0° at the equator (low latitude) to 90° at the poles (90° N for the North Pole or 90° S for the South Pole.

    Since latitude goes from north to south, there is no western point.

    Longitude starts at 0° in Greenwich (pronounced "Grennich"), London and is measured from -180°W to +180°E.


  2. Northern is 90 degrees north. Western doesn't exist - the globe is a complete circle. You can continue to move westward from any point.

  3. The northernmost point of latitude is 90° N. (North Pole)

    The westernmost point of longitude is 180° W (International Dateline)

    Latitude is measured by north and south coordinates only.  The westernmost point would be where the line of latitude intersects with 180° W longitude.  0° N, 180° W is where the Equator meets the International Dateline and is as far west as you can go.
