  1. Really, you should talk to dhs about child care licensing and restrictions.

    You do not count your own kids, but if you plan on more than four additional kids, you need to undergo the licensing program.

    Group Day Care Homes with One Caregiver:



    (I) If any number of children up to the maximum of fifteen (15) children are

    present, and no child is under three (3) years of age, at least one (1)

    caregiver shall be present.



    (II) If over twelve (12) children are enrolled, the additional children shall be of

    school age and a school age program shall be provided.


  2. i think there is a maximum of 8 or 12 kids per adult that must be kept or you will get shut down.
