There isn't a single one that could be considered an absolute number one.  You have to define it more precisely.

Number one in size? Price?  Althletic success?  Number of world leaders among alumni?  Number of Nobel Laureates on faculty? Number of cheerleaders that end up as playboy centerfolds?  Highest starting salaries for graduates? Best place to learn about robots?  Etc.  Etc.

Question is too vague.
