  1. To clarify the answer of the guy above, the fruit with the red exterior and white, black seed dotted interior is called a Dragon Fruit.  And it's delicious.  One of my favorites.

    I find new things in China every day, but my vote for strangest fruit is this tasty little devil....

    I was pretty impressed by this fruit when I first came to China a few years ago.

    Although now that I think of it, this one:

    is probably much stranger than the Rambutan.

    Either of these two would be a good choice for odd looking fruit.

  5. there are many EXOTIC fruits in china/asia i do not find them weird yet interesting...

    1. the durian it has a spiky outside and i personally think it tastes/smells like p**p.

  8. I really don't know what is called but the fruit outer layer is red and diamond like leaves protruding and it looks like fire burning. The shape is like an egg.  Inside you can see many many tiny black seeds and the meat of it is white.

    Fire fruit??
