What is the official date to start wearing a Red Poppy in the UK?

Most people start wearing it at the beginning of November, but the earlier the better, if it will encourage other people to contribute.

The French do things differently.  I remember asking about buying a cornflower in France (their equivalent) and was told that none would be on sale until the day before Armistice Sunday.

Armistice Day is officially Novembe 11th.  You can wear it any time you like though.

Last Friday in October - having said that I dont think really you can wear it too early its a mark of respect and you can wear it anytime - rather wear it too early than not at all.

You could wear it all the time if you want to. :)

Anyhow I love red poppy. It's so soft and beautiful in summer :).

There isn't an official start date.

Just buy one and wear it with pride.

the Poppy is  in remembrance of service personnel who have died serving queen & country, tell your work  prat there is no reason you can not wear your poppy  when you want,

they are easy'er to get  october to november,
