There's no such thing as official holiday dates. You negotiate your time off with your employer.

Some firms close over the local holiday.  In Perth we have the 'perth fortnight' which is the first two full weeks in July so a lot of firms close then.  Find out what your local holiday times are and then find out if the relevant employer closes for it.
