The oldest footy ground, that afl is still played on?

This is an interesting one. To be honest I don't know the answer to this and I havent googled it either but i'm going to take a guess. Since the origins of football lay in Melbourne, it would have to be a Melbourne ground. So I guess the MCG?

i went to a quiz night 12 months ago and the question was asked and I think the answer was  Adelaide oval.

Adelaide oval, it was made in 1871!
