  1. would by alice in chains

  2. Nirvana, they aren't my fav band AT ALL, but it was the band that got me into rock.

  3. That's great.

The Number Of The Beast by Iron Maiden got me out of nu metal about 5 years ago.It was wonderful,a whole new world, heh.

  4. Back In Black by AC/DC is what got me into REAL rock music instead of the generic mainstream rock I used to listen to.  If I never heard AC/DC, I would probably still be listening to boring Nickelback-type stuff.

  5. WELCOME TO MY NIGHTMARE...BY ALICE COOPER.

  6. Welcome to my nightmare... the entire album. It make me take a little walk on the dark side and I have been there ever since.

Also , When I discovered Sisters of Mercy I started to really get into goth , which lead to neogoth, shoegaze and darkwave.

    Musically I am schizophrenic.

  7. mine is i'm alive of Celine deon

  8. rose of sharyn by killswitch engage

  9. um i guess it would have to be 7 nation army by The White Stripes......if not I would be totally obsessed with disney channel stuff. Oh btw I love your song!

  10. I did listen to pop music but when i heard the song "Paint it Black "by The Rolling Stones my taste changed

  11. Anything by Hanson...Their songs are amazing and I discovered a whole world of Indie rock because of them. And everything theyre doing is for a good cause so thats 10X better!

  13. probably Helena by My Chemical Romance

oh and Everlong by the Foo Fighters

    or some linkin park song

  14. "Waterwings"-Alexisonfire

  15. I grew up in the 70's, and I had two older brothers listening to Zeplin, Yes, Pink Floyd and the like.  They made fun of me if I listened to anything else.  in my early 20's I kept hearing the song I'll Be Around by the Spinners.  I was a soul and jazz convert there ever after.  I still like the old 70's stuff, but that song opened me up to other music.

  16. like a rolling stone by Bob Dylan

Now I wont listen to anything less than 10 years old

  21. I think any Jimi Hendrix song period.Okay but the first Jimi song I developed a liking for was The Wind Cries Mary so....

I would also have to say that Dream On by Aerosmith ,Mister Tambourine Man by Bob Dylan,Under Pressure & Let's Dance by David Bowie.....etc

  22. I was a seven year old kid in the seventies wearing my bell-bottom pants and dancing to the "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack when my older brother dragged me by my hair to his room and made me listen to "Rock and Roll Music" by the Beatles. My life was changed forever, and I stopped listening to Disco.

My brother did me the biggest favor that day, that's for sure.

  23. When You Look Me In the Eyes by the Jonas Brothers.

I heard it and it turned me *off* of the whole Disney phenomenon. Now, I listen to real music.

  24. No particular song, but old school Green Day. It gave me more appreciation for alternative and rock.

  25. Ten Years Gone by Led-Zep pretty much gave me a reason to live.  It was one the first songs I learned to play too.

  26. Jesus Saves by Slayer was the first song that got me into metal.

  27. BYOB by System of A Down.

  28. one rode to asa bay by bathory.  it introduced me to viking metal, and of course black metal too.

  29. "The End" by the Doors threw ALL my conceptions of music out the window! It also influenced my affinity for lengthy, epically awesome songs.
