  1. Humor.  I can find something humorous in almost every situation.  That, and the beer.  Can't forget the beer.  The beer is always good.

  2. my religion and beliefs.

  3. Perseverance.

  4. try defining yourself.  leave out gender, age, and those kind of things you can do anything about.  what job or interests do you have? are you married or single? what have you accomplished that made you proud of yourself?  what are your beliefs?  then choose the biggest thing out of all of that.  for me, I would say: I'm a preschool teacher in college going for my elementary ed degree.  I love to draw and help people.  I'm currently engaged.  i never went to highschool, instead I got my GED and started college because I felt ready to continue my education. I recently converted to Catholicism.  I'm very involved in my church and feel like I am finally at home.  So, for me, the big, defining moment in my life, was when I was recieved into the Roman Catholic Church on Easter Vigil, March 22 2008.  Hope that helps!

  5. Real answer: my genetic structure.

But if I was asked that question in an interview I'd tell them it was a stupid question and why are they asking it? Have they run out of things to ask?

No actually I would lie and tell them it was my mother teaching me always to tell the truth.

  6. Falling in love with my wife.

  7. briefly losing my sanity

although I wouldn't recommend telling them that even if it was true

    I hate interviews

  8. Uh, my mom and dad conceiving me.

It's the one thing that defined my entire life.

  9. For me it's pretty simple. My father died when I was five. Fifty years later I found out I have ADHD. The latter actually has had a much greater impact but I'm not sure I would mention it to a prospective employer.

  10. I don't think there is just one thing that has defined my life. I think mine, and other peoples lives, are defined by a lot of things and not just one.

  11. I had a rough time as a kid. I grew up hard, lean, and mean.

  12. My decision to follow Jesus Christ has defined my life.
