What is the one thing that you can't stand about waitresses?

when they are rude, but that's rare because they could lose their job if we complain

That most of them ASSUME they deserve a tip, ASSUME that it's my problem to feel sorry for their wage and that they don't actually have to work at getting the tip from me.

they sometimes ask a lot of question about your personal life, which is really irritating.

I call it "waitress eyes" -- where they've walking in and out, and their eyes are averted.

It's impossible to catch their attention. Drives me nuts.

I used to know a guy who could get the wait-person in a flash. No one knew how he did it, but he always did.

What really gets me is when you want dessert, and they never bother coming by. Since the bill is less, that's less tip for them; you'd think they'd see if you want something else.

Nothing, it's the quests that need to change.

you have to wait on them an awful lot. most of them dont check on you during the meal and you have to catch them passing by the table to even ask or remind them for something.

Just when they act as if I'm bothering them.  It happens so rarely, most are at least a fair fake friendly.   Every so often, however, we'll get one that just seems to dislike people.

Just a little smile and eye contact means so much.  

Just about everything else can be forgiven after that.  We know there are busy days and things happen to throw your timing off in a restaurant.

When the advertisement says   ALL YOU CAN EAT or REFILLABLE items such as salad, coke, bread, and barbeque AND THEY GIVE YOU AN ATTITUDE.
