I recently purchased some RiDATA DVD+R DL discs and on the case it says the write speed is 8x, but I don't know it that is the optimum speed to write them at. I heard that it is better to write them at 4x but I am not sure. I am using ImgBurn to write the DVDs and was wondering what write speed I should set it at. I have been receiving a lot of error messages when writing the DVDs and wanted to know whether the write speed may have something to do with that.

  1. x4 the ideal best .

faster burner speed= faster spoilage of DvDs

x1 = optimum but waiting time is too long.

  2. the slower you burn the better the chance of it turning out to it's "best" quality

  3. Depends how much your dvdwriten can handle but optimal speed is 16x

  4. I buy 16X DVD's and put it at 16X and don't see a problem with it.

  5. I like "FAH" or simply put:

    Fast as h**l
