  1. Do you need the formula for them.

Because Carbons formula is C6H12O6+O2+energy=CO2+H2O =light

  2.                                CARBON CYCLE

Carbon cycle includes taking up of elementary CO2:

1.from the atmosphere by photosynthesis in plants.

2.Carbon dioxide is also absorbed by water droplets in air which fall on land as acid rain.

3.CO2 is used up in the process of rock formation.

Carbon dioxide is released in the atmosphere by

    1.Respiration in animals

2.Burning of fossil fuels and other wastes

    3.Decomposition of organic matter

4.Volcanic eruptions also give out CO2 in air

    5.Weathering of rocks releases CO2.

                                     NITROGEN CYCLE

Nitrogen cycle involves the following steps:

    1. Nitrogen fixation.Fixing of free nitrogen into usable forms like nitrates. It is done either biologically by the nitrogen fixing bacteria or it is done industrially. Sometimes during lightening atmospheric fixation is also done.

2.Assimilation: Nitrates in the surroundings are taken by plants and converted into plant proteins which are further taken by animals and converted into animal proteins.

3.Ammonification: the dead parts of plants and animals along with their excreta are decomposed by bacteria and are converted into ammonium compounds in the soil.

4.Nitrification: Ammonium compounds are oxidised to nitrites by nitrifying bacteria. These nitrites are further converted into nitrates by nitrobacter.

5.Denitrification: The nitrates are then converted into free N2 by denitrifying bacteria. This elementary N2 is then released in air.
