What is the origin of, "Good things come in small packages."?

I get to present a scholorship to a girl who is 4'11" and I would like to tie that into my presentation.

  1. If the scholarship wasn't given to her for her small size, I wouldn't tie it in at all.  She already knows she's small - you don't have to point it out to her or anyone else.  In fact, you may be approaching discrimination (or at least A*hole) territory!

    I suggest you center your presentation around what she did to deserve the scholarship.  If it was for community service, talk about all the people she helped.  If it was for good attitude, talk about how much she influenced those around her.  If she got it for her scholastic performance, use her as an example of how people can do anything that they put their mind to.  If it was a random award, make something up.

    Please, don't bring up the size issue if you can at all help it.  It will only make you look bad.
