  1. alcohol??

  2. All the explanations given so far are pretty much correct. Horses are large animals with large bladders that store large amounts of urine.

The main reason, however is the drug Lasix, a potent diuretic which is routinely give to over 98% of all American racehorses, whether they are bleeders or not.

BTW, lasix has never been proven to prevent bleeding and veterinary studies indicate it is not effective for this purpose. It does seem to improve performances for some other reason and is therefore banned in every other country along with all other performance enhancing drugs. This may be due to the ability of Lasix to mask other illegal drugs.

  3. cause they feed the beer horses alot of beer up there in russia

  4. a russian? I heard it was "i have to pee like a race horse" because race horses drink a lot of water which of course makes a lot of pee.

  5. Go to a stable and watch a horse take a pee. They have large kidneys and a large p***s. They drink lots of water. When they go pee it comes out in a very strong stream and takes a while to end. Race horses are stimulated to pee before getting in the gate so they are lighter during the race. This pee like a race horse.

  6. horses the bleed during a race are giving lasis and that makes them pee alot before a race maybe thats it ???????

  7. I use to hear that a lot, back in Oklahoma in the late 70's while drinking beer with friends.  I think a drunk who had to pee real bad thought of it.  And it jut cough on.

  8. ummm i believe it was b/c the russians use to leave there horse in the gate so they would have to go therefore running faster so they could p**s.

  9. its just like (my bad) just a fad
