In the United States, the only place where the name is found with much frequency is "Corpus Christi, TX. Internationally, the only place I have found it with much frequency is Denmark. I have always been told it is a French name, but I don't find it in France, but I do find it in Denmark, and couple of other Scandinavian countries.

Internet searches are of little help with this.
