there is a site called www.gumtree.com that you can advertise things so that other people can buy them. you email or call the person to arrange to view the item.

the items range from peoples houses to things like caravans and toys.

Etsy.com is like ebay in a way, but everything they list has to be handmade. It's a pretty cool site however; check it out.
