I have seen this year will become a good year for boxing and I thought I would ask everyone what will be the outcome of these fights:

Roy Jones Jr. vs Jermanie Taylor ? - Might Happen

Edison Miranda vs Mikkel Kessler? - Coming in May

Ricky Hatton vs Paulie Malinaggi? - This fall if both win pre fights.

Manny Pacquiao vs David Diaz? - Will happen in June if both win tomorrow.

There are others but these is what I have listed so far.

Paul Williams vs Carlos Quintanna?

  1. Jones by  decison

    Miranda by ko

Hatton by decision possibly k.o. ... paulie is not bad and pretty fast but hes not a world class fighter and he dont have the power to keep hatton off of him.

Pacman by ko , only reason diaz has the belt is cause he beat a washed up worn down morales.

Quintanna by decision , i think Quintanna is underated and just has Paul Williams number.

  2. Roy Jones jr beats Taylor                                                      Kessler stops Miranda.                                                                Hatton stops Malinaggi .                                                              Pacquiao beatr Diaz.                                                                 quintanna beats Williams again.

  3. RJJ.

    Kessler.

    Hatton but i want Paulie.

    PacMan.

    Williams

  4. Roy Jones jr vs Jermain Talor - Jones is an all time great but is a shell of his former self. Taylor is coming off two loss,s but against a very good fighter in Palvik. As long as Taylor isent too badly affected mentally after those defeats he should have enough to beat a faded Jones.

Edison Miranda vs Mikkel Kessler - Kessler K0s Miranda.

Ricky Hatton vs Paulie Malinaggi - Could be a bit of a dodgy fight for Hatton who might struggle a bit with Mallinaggis style. But i expect he will catch up with him eventually and win a close one on points.

Manny Pacquio vs David Diaz - Pacquio beat Diaz unanimously on points.

Paul Williams vs Carlos Quintanna - I havent seen too much of either of these guys so im going by there previous fight, Quintanna wins on points.

  5. I think Roy, at the moment is very comfortable fighting at light heavy (he had to lose muscle not fat to get back down from heavyweight his body has now adjusted).  Taylor's got to convince me he can fight comfortably at light heavy, something he hasn't done yet. can he take a punch at 175? He couldn't take Pavlik's punch at 160. Jones is experienced and too slick he wins at 175. Jones by decision.

Kessler beats Miranda. Kessler is the busier fighter. In my opinion the Calzaghe fight was closer than most think. Kessler by TKO.

I thought about this one and by reputation I believe most will pick Hatton. But I think Malignaggi's speed would give Hatton some real problems to cope with. If Malignaggi can stay off the ropes he can beat Ricky by a close decision.

This fight won't happen. Marquez beats the Pac Man Saturday night!

Williams won't lose a rematch against Quintana. He's the more skilled fighter and it will show in a rematch. In the first fight Williams timing looked like it was off. That won't happen again. Williams by decision or late round TKO.

  6. Jones v. Taylor - I can actually see Jones s******g up his chance at victory. Jones has been showboating a lot lately and wasting valuable time waiting. Besides Taylor being much younger and bigger than Jones' last opponent (Trinidad), I think the showboating and standing around, will cost Roy if it should come down to the scorecards.

Miranda v. Kessler - Besides his punching power, I'm not too impressed with Miranda. I don't see him as a true champion caliber. Kessler actually put up a nice performance against undisputed champion, Joe Calzaghe. Miranda has a puncher's chance, but I'm picking Kessler by decision.

Hatton v. Malinaggi - I see this being a ugly fight, due to their styles. I think fan favorite, Hatton will get by on points.

Pacquiao v. Diaz - Out of all the top Diaz's at lightweight, I thought David Diaz would be the safest for Pacquiao to fight. Diaz barely got by a shot Morales... the same shot Morales that Pacquiao destroyed easily. I think Pacquiao can get a decision win against Diaz.

Williams v. Quintana - To be honest, I'm not sure Williams is ready to jump back in the ring against Quintana so soon. I think Williams should take one other fight before looking at Qunitana again.

  7. Taylor

    Miranda

    Hatton

    Pacquiao

    Williams int he rematch

  8. Roy Jones vs. Jermain Taylor- I think Taylor is too young for Jones at this stage.  In his prime, I think Jones would have beaten him easily but lately he hasn't been as active in his fights- it took him 4 rounds before he actually started to fight against Trinidad.  If it comes off, Jones might stun me and school Taylor like he did Anthony Hanshaw, but I'll pick Taylor by decision.

Edison Miranda vs. Mikkel Kessler- Kessler by far has the better overall skills.  Miranda will always have that puncher's chance but I think Kessler has all the tools to win by a lopsided decision.

Ricky Hatton vs. Paul Malignaggi- I'll actually go with Malignaggi on this one because Hatton has always had trouble with slick boxers- he barely beat Luis Collazo and he lost decisively to Floyd Mayweather, Jr.  I think Malignaggi would be able to outpoint Hatton in a close fight.

Manny Pacquiao vs. David Diaz- Pacquiao all the way.  Diaz barely beat a past his prime Erik Morales while Pacman knocked Morales out in brutal fashion twice.

Paul Williams vs. Carlos Quintana 2- I was shocked that Quintana beat Paul the way he did, but I think for their rematch, Williams comes in more  focused and is able to get his title back by either a decisive points victory or a late round TKO.

  9. RJJ - The Taylor camp would be foolish to take this fight right now.  JT needs a patsy first.

Miranda - He hits too hard for Kessler.

Magic Man - in a decision.  If Cotto could not put him down I don't see hatton doing it.  Hatton doesn't have the speed to keep up.

Mac Man all the way - He has no match in his division.  True warrior that takes on all challengers.

Quintanna - Williams got roughed up pretty good the first time around.  He wasn't able to keep Carlos off of him.  After absorbing a beating from Cotto, I think William's power was unimpressive to Carlos.
