  1. pOH=14-pH

    pOH=14-9.5

    pOH=4.5

    make it a good day

  2. pOH is -Log[OH-]

    since you know pH you can find [H+] and from [H+] you can also find [OH-], and to find pOH you can just take the -Log[OH-]

    so,

    pH = -Log[H+]

    9.5 = -Log[H+]

    -9.5 = Log[H+]

    [H+] = 10^-9.5 = 3.1622776 x 10^-10

    [H+][OH-] = 1 x 10^-14

    [OH-] = 1 x 10^-14/3.1622776 x 10^-10 = 3.1623 x 10^-5

    pOH = -Log[OH-] = -Log[3.1623 x 10^-5] = 4.5

  3. pH + pOH = 14

    (9.5) + pOH = 14

    14 - 9.5 = pOH

    4.5 = pOH
