What is the part time pay for sainsburys?

Im thinking about applying for a job at sainsburys can someone please tell me what the part time pay for a 16 year old would be?

  1. The difference in pay between a full time and part time employee is nothing you are all entitled to the same pay what changes the rates of pay is your age.  The minimum wage in the U.K is as follows

    £5.52 per hour for workers aged 22 years and older

    A development rate of £4.60 per hour for workers aged 18-21 inclusive

    £3.40 per hour for all workers under the age of 18, who are no longer of compulsory school age.

    so for you at the moment you would be entitled to £3.40 an hour but you may have dropped on and they may pay more than this (but don't get your hopes up).


  2. No difference in pay between fulltime and part-time.

    should be around £3.50 - £4.50 for your age.
