  1. ......welfare?

if the deadbeat dad has no money to give, how are you going to squeeze it out from him?

try taking him to court, but all you can do is hope for best.

should have used contraceptives. looks like the u.s. budget defecit is going to increase because people can't learn to remember to take their birth control. so taxpayers like myself have to support these people.

  2. Go to your county attorney's office of child support and let them know that you've not received support payments.  They should schedule a court date for you (it may take several months), and will also notify the father at his last known address that he is to appear.  The judge will tell him to pay up or go to jail.  If he continues to not pay, the judge will issue a warrant for his arrest and he'll go to county jail for awhile.  This can go on and on a long time, while he goes to jail over and over.  Eventually, when he gets several thousand dollars behind in child support, you can take the case to the commonwealth attorney's office and you can get a grand jury to indict him.  In that case, felony warrant will be issued and he can go to prison for around a year, I think.

The bottom line is that if the father is working at a legitimate job, his wages can be garnished, as will his federal and state tax refunds.  But, if he's working under the table (for cash) and isn't filing his taxes, it's hard for the state to track him down.  You can keep putting him in jail, but if he's determined not to pay, it's hard to get any money.

  3. They make you brush your teeth and wear shoes.

  4. anywhere to wage garnishment to several days in jail, to several months in jail.

They usually do not put them in jail unless it is chronic.

Get his wages garnished..easy to do

  5. petition the family for child support enforcement. They can garnish his wages or put him in jail for not paying child support.
