What is the percentage of people who never get any wisdom teeth?

I am 27 and I have been told that i will never have them, and one dentist told me i dont even have the "buds" for them?? I thought it was normal, but the more people i talk to the more it makes me wonder. Am i just a freak of nature or something? for those of you in the dental field, is this that rare? How many people do you see that dont have them? I was just wondering and every search i do on the internet nothing comes up. thanks!

I don't have them, and a friend of mine is the same way. Typically they show up on x-rays, but I have had two orthodontists and a dentist fail to find them.

My dad only has three, and my sister only has two.

Because it is now pretty commonplace to have them removed, it most likely is just evolution working its magic.

You likely dodged a pretty big inconvenience...smile! :D
