Ok so people always say u need this many servings of everything every day or week, and need to limit some food groups. So has anyone actually written a perfectly balanced diet with the right proportions of everything? I mean whenever I try to eat more of one food group another seems to go with it thats not as good. It may not be possible as everyones body is different. Im not sure... what do you think/know?

  1. The diet must be low in calories, coming from clean foods that aren't processed.  You should limit  fast food as much as possible, and drink water as your main beverage.  100 Percent fruit juice is alright if water is too dull sometimes.

You need a good diet, low in carbohydrates and fats, and high in protein.  You need the protein to sustain muscle, and your diet should be low in carbohydrates since carbs are used as the first source of energy.

Fats are used up second.  If there aren't many carbs in your diet then fat will be used as a source of energy more quickly, which is what you want.  You should get some carbs in your diet though.

You don't want fat obviously, some healthy fat is alright though, but your main focus in diet is getting adequate protein.  You also want 3 meals and 2-3 snacks a day to speed up your metabolism.  Forget about the food pyramid, it's inaccurate, and it was just used as a marketing strategy.

Here is a great diet, low in calories, high in protein, low in fat and carbs, coming from clean foods, mainly non-processed foods:

    Breakfast:

Instant oatmeal, 1 egg, Glass of orange juice with pulp

    Snack:

    Apple

    Lunch:

Salad topped with lean meat, poultry, or seafood/Salad and scoop of Whey or fat-free yogurt

    Snack:

    Lean Chicken/Boiled Egg Whites

    Dinner:

    Poultry/Steamed Veggies

    Snack:

    Cottage Cheese/Fat-Free Yogurt

In addition to this, you should be having 8+ cups of water a day, and if you want to take an omega-3 pill/soft-chew, that would be fine.

    Best of luck!
