What is the pet you like the most??and what would you prefer for an old man?

My favourite would be a dog, however when you are elderly walking a dog may be difficult so a cat might make a better pet.  Make sure the elderly person can afford to feed and take care of whatever pet you decided upon and don't forget vet bills.  Some people quite like budgerigars (Melopsittacus undulatus) because if you get them young enough you can encourage them to talk.   If the old man is awake at night a lot you could try hamsters which are more of a nocturnal companion.

If you old person is not so old that walking a dog is a problem the do think about rescuing a greyhound they make lovely pets.

the pet i would love to have is a duckling!! so sweet!!

but for an old man i would say a budgie or a dog! a budgie because it is kinda easy to look after and it would keep u company! same as a dog and a dog i man's best friend
