PTT push to talk, and nextel isnt the only company with that technology any more... check the other carriers, but the PTT can only work in the same network, so who ever you want to use the PTT with would have to have the same carrier...

boost mobile + sprint/nextel can talk with eachother (they share the same network)

there not really many "girly" phones with this feature, it is marketed more towards businesses
