  1. Birth control.

  2. The Pill (oral contraceptives) is the most popular type of birth control. There are many different brands and they come in packs of 21 or 28 pills. One pill is taken every day. The first 21 pills have a combination of synthetic estrogen and progesterone hormones. The Pill stops ovulation, preventing the ovaries from releasing eggs. The Pill also thickens cervical mucus, making it harder for sperm to enter the uterus. The hormones in the Pill prevent fertilization. The last 7 pills of a 28-day pack have no hormones and are called spacer pills. The Pill is 92-99.7% effective as birth control. It does not protect against reproductive tract infections, including HIV/AIDS.

  3. sorry but if you don't know what teh pill is your to young to even have s*x   lol  i known what the pill was at the age of 8  when  my mom took hers  she call it the pill lol

  5. ..Don't you have s*x ed in school? It's a pill that you take daily to change the way the your body works and prevent pregnancy. It stops you from having your period and if you don't have a period then you can't get pregnant.

  6. Sweetie, the pll is what they give girls to either a regulate there period or b to stop them from getting regnate. With the pill you monthly cycle as in your bleeding everytime of the month should be regular and if its not then the doctor may put you on the pill. Or if your parents feel that you are having adul relations and try to stop you from getting pregnate they will put you on it. Its also knows as birth control. Look the word up!

  7. Birth control pills, or oral contraceptives, contain hormones that suppress ovulation. During ovulation an egg is released from the ovaries, without ovulation there is no egg to be fertilized and pregnancy cannot occur. There are 2 types of birth control pills -- the combined pill and the Minipill. The combined pill contains both estrogen and progestin, while the Minipill contains only progestin.

The progestin in the Minipill may prevent ovulation; however it may not do this reliably each month. The Minipill works further by thickening the mucous around the cervix and preventing sperm from entering the uterus. The lining of the uterus is also affected in a way that prevents fertilized eggs from implanting into the wall of the uterus. The Minipill is taken every day. You may not have a period while taking the Minipill, if you do have periods that means you are still ovulating and your risk for pregnancy occuring is greater.

Combination birth control pills come in either 21 or 28-day packs. You take one pill each day at the same time for 21 days. If you have a 21-day pack, you stop taking birth control pills for 7 days at the end of the pack. If you are taking a 28-day pack, you continue taking pills every day, the last 7 non-hormonal pills serve as a reminder to help you remember to take your pill at the same time every day. Your period will occur during the week you take the 7 reminder pills.

  8. it is funny you know that we are going to say you are too young. you are.and you should talk to your mom and not get answers from strangers. your parents will never steer you wrong. it is a pill you take so you cannnot have children. the thing you should know is it does not work all the time, can cause cancer, blood clots and other medical problems and has no effect on different diseases you can catch from being intimate with a boy .

  9. The pill is consisted of a hormone that you have to take every day consistantly for it to be affective in preventing pregnancy.
