Question:

What is the plate that holds the clutch/pressure plates in place a TH-400 transmission called?

It's in the front drum holding the plates in place. I will attach a picture in a few minutes if that will help?

My mechanic broke it.

  1. Clutch plate is assembled on the main shaft in between the Gear box and the engine. The pressure plate is assembled in between clutch plate and the gear box. To make the gear box and the engine as one unit. I hope you are asking about the pressure plate assembly.
